1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a site or a third party may store in your browser. Similar techniques include local storage. The Swedish Electronic Communications Act (2022:482) requires consent for cookies that are not strictly necessary for the site to work.

2. What this site does

We do not set our own analytics cookies. If you accept statistics, Google Analytics loads and Google may then set cookies in your browser. The choice is stored locally in the browser (not as a cookie) so we do not ask every time.

You get the question in a bar at the bottom of the page. The bar also mentions the terms of use: by using the site you accept the terms. That is separate from the cookie choice. Accept and Reject only control statistics. Accept starts Analytics. Reject means Analytics is not loaded. You can reject cookies and still use the site.

3. Google Analytics (after consent)

The service is Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-WKZDCVY7TR). It counts page views. Google’s description: policies.google.com/privacy.

Analytics loads only if you have accepted, and only on johanneswikner.se and johanneswikner.com. If you reject, or have not chosen yet, no measurement is sent to Google from us.

4. Third parties

• Fonts. Playfair Display and Source Sans Pro are loaded from Google Fonts. Google may see your IP address when the fonts load.
• Hosting. Hostinger logs technical traffic (for example IP, time, page address) for operations and security.

5. Legal basis

Technical operations and security, including necessary logs: legitimate interest. Google Analytics: consent. You can withdraw consent with the button above or by clearing site data in the browser.

6. How you control cookies
